ABOUT ME

Hey there!

 First of all- thanks for visiting Truth Be Told! My name is Haley and I am currently 28 years old, living on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

When I first started this blog.. who I am, was still a question to me. But now, I have a better idea of who I am. I am someone that has found confidence. I have learned that you can't feel sorry for yourself, even if you deserve it.. it gets you nowhere. I've learned that if you don't like something in your life it is up to you to fix it. I am someone that has found love and have embraced it. I am a new mom and I am learning how to be a better one every day that I am with my baby girl. I am interested in other people's lives.. their interests.. their stories. Everyone has a story. Mine happens every day and I share the details in this blog. I love REAL people. I love my family and my friends. I love the experience.. even when it's hard.

 I feel like there are two sides to me.. I have a serious, normal side. I go to work and am smiley and polite and helpful. But there is another side to me. A side to me that people don't always see right away, but after awhile it comes out. I am a goof ball and I can credit my husband Rob for bringing that out in me. We goof around all of the time because we love to have fun and laugh...

 My husband Rob and I both moved from our hometowns in different provinces on the exact same day. We met a couple of months later and the rest is history. We've been together since October, 2005. We were married in July, 2010. We just had our first child, Alina in March, 2013.

 I love writing... I always have. Blogland interests me and it keeps me busy during the day, while I take care of my baby girl. I have found new blog friendships that are important to me, even though I haven't met any of my fellow bloggers. I enjoy being an active blogger and I hope to improve the look of my blog more as time goes on.
