Guest Post At Rhyme and Ribbons

It's not everyday that I post two days in a row!!! But here I am... I mentioned on Friday that I purchased a blog ad from Amanda at Rhyme and Ribbons.. So, being the lucky duck that I am, I got a chance to woo and entertain her readers with a guest post. If you would like to read some more of my craziness, but somewhere else; check out Amanda's post today!

This is all perfectly normal behaviour...

I decided to put together a little collage of some of my madness over the years. Honestly, it's fun being weird- you should try it sometime...!

Happy Thanksgiving Canada

Rob at the top of the 100+ foot ladder truck, fixing the flag- QBFD  Father's Day 2013

Canada! I live here, everyone I really know lives here. According to my Blogger Overview and Stats; the majority of my readers are Canadian. But I know I have some readers that come from different countries.. that may or may not know that much about Canada..

Here are some fun facts, or stereotypes to list and discuss..

//1    Vancouver held the Winter Olympics in 2010 and on their website there was a Q & A page. It was comical to us Canadians to read how much the rest of the world did not know about Canada. It's okay- I'm guilty of this ignorance as well. I wouldn't be able to name all of the states in America and I also have to refer to Google Maps to find out where some of my fellow bloggers live.. ( I have an idea where these places are, but I have to refer to the maps to find their countries.) Here are a list of some of the questions asked from all around the world:

Q: Are there any ATMs (cash machines) in Canada? Can you send me a list of them in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Halifax? (UK)

Q: Are there supermarkets in Toronto and is milk available all year round? (Germany)

Q: I want to walk from Vancouver to Toronto. Can I follow the Railroad tracks? (Sweden)

Q: Will I be able to see Polar Bears in the street? (USA)

I live on Vancouver Island, I do not live in Vancouver. Toronto is a 42 hour drive from where I live..and it's also the fifth largest city in North America. I was born and raised in Alberta but I don't know your friend Meg from Calgary. It can get pretty cold in Canada, but I live in a heated home and I have never even seen an igloo. Aaaand, I grew up near Jasper where wildlife is plentiful. But, I still haven't seen a moose in person. Polar bears are just as mysterious to me as they are to.. you, yup- you because I bet you haven't seen one before either.

2010 Winter Olympics- Vancouver

//2   One of Canada's National Symbols is the Beaver. Honestly, I find this sort of embarrassing. I know why the beaver is a symbol to us.. but it looks like an obese, wet squirrel.. The beaver is actually a huge pain in the ass in the wild. They are extremely hard workers that never stop.. but because of this their dam building causes serious flooding and has been known in the past to lose Canada millions of dollars in the timber industry.

This guy made the news that day.. Ohhhhh Canada, I love you. (2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics)

//3   People all over the world seem to think that Canadians are obsessed with hockey. Like, you can't go into a pub or sports bar without seeing hockey paraphernalia littered all over the walls.. Or that Canadians are known for playing hooky from work to watch important hockey games during the Olympics.. And that most Canadians feel very passionately about 'their' hockey team wherever you go... Well, it's all true! Hockey is our national sport and that is a fact.

This video was recorded in the Vancouver harbour during the 2010 Gold Medal Game against the U.S of A... At 1 minute 18 seconds in, you can hear just how important hockey is to Canada.. It's actually pretty amazing..

( I get a little choked up every time I watch that... )

Aaand as Helene mentioned in her post today - that all recap posts should have some kind of a point, to make the recap more interesting. So #4 is the point of my entire post today...

//4   We have Thanksgiving too.. It's just a full month before the U.S. and that's okay! We eat the same stuff; stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. We talk about what we're thankful for... and we get together with family and friends to celebrate the occasion. We don't have parades, and if we do we don't televise them and I don't know anything about them... We get the Monday off, which is always a bonus. I always thought having Thanksgiving in November was too close to Christmas. It's nice to have a full month of zero turkey dinner, before having it again in December.

Our dinner, last year..

This year, for Thanksgiving we didn't do too much. Since my sister and her family moved to the East Coast, Thanksgiving hasn't really been the same. We used to name this holiday; "Orphan Thanksgiving" because all of our parents lived elsewhere and we all just had each other. Five Thanksgivings ago, I met my best friend Katie's son Fletcher for the first time. That same Thanksgiving, Ky and Joe found out that they were pregnant with their first. This year was special because it was Alina's first turkey dinner, her first taste of pumpkin pie and of course, it was Baby's First Thanksgiving. My mom came for the day, to visit and help out. Rob ended up watching hockey, football and baseball all in one day, while he played and napped with Alina. My mom and I ended up watching the "Quarterback" episode of Glee. It was truly one of the saddest, but touching tribute episodes I've ever seen. We cried, but somehow it worked watching it on Thanksgiving because it was a reminder that we were both very grateful for each other. I have a mom that I love, that lives close. She has a daughter and a granddaughter to visit whenever she wants.

Making a turkey dinner is getting easier and easier to do every year. It helps that I didn't have my best drinking partner with me for the last three years. The turkey was moist, the gravy plentiful and tasty and the stuffing was alright. I think it was a bit too flavourful.. but I was reassured that it was perfect. Rob whipped up the pumpkin pie and I love my husband because he tries to tackle challenges like this. The pie turned out alright and I'm sure next year it will be even better.

So, this year I am thankful for... my mom and our new found relationship. I am grateful for my little family; Rob, Alina and I.. Nothing else in this world matters as long as I'm waking up to those two smiling faces.

Thank you, for the life I live- Every. Single. Day.

Short Friday Blurb

I just wanted to use my Friday Post to acknowledge my good blogging buddy, Amanda from Rhyme and Ribbons. I bought an ad space on her blog titled, American Pie. This is the first ad space that I've paid for on another blogger's blog and I am really happy with all of the exposure I've been getting. Thanks Amanda, for doing all that you do, the way that you do it. You are genuine and I enjoy our back and fourth every day.
Today she posted Amanda VS. Haley: The Battle - go check it out if you want to learn a little bit more about Amanda and myself.

I'd also like to link up with Yoga Pants for the Friday- BackThatAzzUp.. with a little tune from the 1990's... "Mrs. Potter's Lullaby"....

Mrs. Potter's Lullaby by Counting Crows on Grooveshark

Ever heard of Monica Potter? She stars in Parenthood..

Well apparently this song was written by one of the Counting Crows for her.. He had an infatuation with her, as a fan .. and then wrote the song. Little fun fact to put in your back pocket. I always whip it out when this song comes on.. Enjoy the weekend...

"You Will Always Belong"

A couple of weeks ago, I was watching Ellen (surprise, surprise!) and she had Jim Carrey on, talking about a new children's book that he wrote. He explained what the book was about and I fell in love with the idea behind it instantly. I did something I never do and went online and ordered "How Roland Rolls" on Amazon right away.
Sometimes when a book is purchased blindly like this, it is difficult to know what you're going to get. I trusted by Carrey's description of the book, that it was going to be worth ordering.
Rob was out front sharpening a tool of some kind the other day and I opened the front door to ask him something and in between the door and our screen was a book shaped package from Amazon! Even though I ordered it and knew what it was, I was still excited to open it!
Alina was napping and I read it to myself right away. I instantly fell for this story...

It arrived and I was sooo happy!
It's really quite a special little tale of a wave that realizes that he belongs in this big world. (His ocean.)

The story rhymes throughout which I wouldn't have even cared about before I had Alina. But I noticed that she listens to the stories that rhyme much more than the ones that don't. So it is important for the words to flow nicely together and these ones really did. I read it to her this morning and she had a big grin on her face the entire time. I wish that Rob would have been home to snap pictures of her reactions to the story because they were really priceless.
I also love reading a story with a message and this one certainly has one... Alina can enjoy it now, at seven months old and later on when she's old enough to understand the words. I really look forward to when that time comes too.
As someone that writes, I always try to end any of my pieces of written work with a good ending.. I always feel really good about reading a book that has a great last sentence that somehow manages to end the story completely. It's really difficult to do, but I think with great thought and care put into it, it can be accomplished. Again, "How Roland Rolls" ends so well.

What a perfect ending, to a perfectly written story, by Jim Carrey.
The book technically belongs to Alina, but until she can handle her nice books gently, I'll have to monitor how many pages she crinkles, or how many corners she chews. I think she'll appreciate how I take care of her books now so that she can enjoy the stories and books when she is a bit older...

Very into the book.. as you can see.

Aaaaand- she likes it..!

" A great message, a good read and some bonding time spent together, just mommy and me."

A True Treasury

Last night I was thinking about what I wanted to write about today.. I have always had a bit of an obsession with Roald Dahl. I'm sure most people know who he is just by his name. But I'm betting there are some that have no idea who he is too.
Well, Roald Dahl just so happens to have, in my opinion, the greatest, most creative minds in the literature world. He is the very successful author of Matilda, The BFG, The Witches, The Twits, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach.. to name a few. I decided, I believe after having read Matilda in grade three, that he was my idol. In grade three I was nine, which would make it 1994. Little did I know at the time, that he was long gone. He died November, 1990. I was five years old and didn't even know how to read the year he passed away.

I remember doing an autobiography on Mr. Dahl when I was in grade school. I learned all sorts of facts about him doing that project. He joined the Royal Air Force in World War II as an aircraftman and he left in a much higher ranking as a wing commander. He was married to Patricia Neal, an actress and they had four daughters and one son together. Four of Dahl's children are alive and well today.

Roald Dahl is known for his exceptional writing career as a children's author. But he is also known for writing short stories for adults. I have read his short stories and they are known for surprising, twisted, dark endings. Even his children's stories have dark humour littered throughout them. I think that's what I enjoyed so much about his writing. As a child, I loved how he had no limits. He would create his villains to be so awful and grotesque with even uglier personalities. But, his heroes would be the exact opposite; good, wholesome very beautiful and sweet individuals. He was an extremist when creating his characters and plots. Animals ate children. Parents and witches hated them. The content seems awful but it was very enjoyable for me, as a child to read.
All of Dahl's characters were clumsy and imperfect.. the good and the bad. That's why Dahl's illustrator Quentin Blake was the man to recreate them in pictures. Blake's illustrations completed Dahl's characters and to this day when I see Blake's illustrations, I think of Mr. Dahl and his fantastic stories.

I will forever cherish my Roald Dahl Treasures that I have collected over the years. Every time my family would go into the big city we would usually go to a mall of some sort. I used to quiver with excitement at the very thought of going into a Cole's bookstore. (Before Chapters even existed!) I would rush to the children's section to see which Roald Dahl book they carried. I almost always bought a new one for my collection. My most prized book was the Roald Dahl Treasury that my aunt bought for my mom to give me for Christmas. It is full of his best short stories, poems and even personal scribbles. Roald Dahl was into inventing things and some of his scrap pieces of paper with his cooky ideas are in the treasury as well. I would love to be able to sit down with Mr. Dahl and just talk to him for a few minutes. I imagine he was a very interesting man, with a hell of a sense of humour.

My Collection..

Laying in my Collection.. it felt like the right thing to do...

I still have all of my Roald Dahl books and will one day pass them onto Alina or any other children that I have.. IF they share the love of reading like I do. IF my son or daughter loves and appreciates Roald Dahl books like I did, and thinks of them as treasures waiting to be discovered than he or she can have my collection. Until then...

I introduced her to my books..

I laid the books all around her and then quickly snapped my pictures.. Until she reads, I think I'll keep them out of her sticky little hands.. and drooling little mouth..!

Show n' Tell

Today is Sunday and what a perfect day to play Show n' Tell with my 'readers'. My mom isn't very computer savvy or technology savvy at all in the very least. It's a common thing with her generation. At least when I was in school computers were around. We didn't have internet until I was in high school and even then, it was pretty finicky and very, very slllloooooow. But, because the computers were around, I was familiar with them and didn't feel intimidated by the new technology. She is learning how to use her online banking, to leave messages on her Facebook and to take pictures with or without her flash. (Well, I think the camera one is a bit of stretch.. But I'm sure if she wanted to, she could figure out how to turn her flash off.) She's a work in progress, but I'm proud of her because she is trying. That, is all that really matters to me these days.
Anyway, she asked me to get a couple of pictures developed from my sister's visit this last August. I took her camera home with me and put her memory chip on my computer. I found pictures from my sister's wedding in 2008! She still had them on her camera, with so many others in between. My cousin's wedding, her two visits to Nova Scotia to see Quinn and then her second visit to meet her grand baby Sophie when she was born in 2011. She has numerous pictures of me pregnant with Alina and then the best part, for me anyways, newborn pictures of Miss Alina straight from the hospital. I felt compelled to share a picture on my blog from each event that my mom had on her camera. I think her camera dates back to 2007..!
I saw her today and I asked her if she ever put her pictures on her computer, so that she could erase them off of her camera. Short answer; nope.

Sunday's Show N' Tell with Haley and her Mom's Camera:

Us girls before Ky's wedding- probably a few weekends before..!

Ky's wedding- us with our peeps.

Goofing around at my cousin's wedding.

Miss Napkin Head misbehaving before the reception..

Ky, pregnant with her first...Quinn.
Then there was a period of time when my mom moved back to Alberta. So she didn't have any newborn pictures of Quinn or any pictures for quite some time. She took a couple of trips to Nova Scotia once my sister moved to the East Coast in 2010.

I'm assuming that was my 9th month with Peanut in there..

Then Peanut turned into Alina! Fresh outta the oven in this picture!

Waiting at the airport in August, for my sister and her family..

The kids!!

Alina and Baba on Baba's 'birthday'..

This is A's set up at Baba's.. She is very comfy on her chair, legs crossed and everything..

Then, if this wasn't enough 'sharing' of pictures today.. I had an idea when my mom said she was coming by this morning. Her friend Gayle, is visiting from Alberta this week. Mom was Gayle's maid of honour at her wedding, Gayle is my sister's Godmother. Life got in the way and Mom and Gayle didn't see or speak to each other for many, many years. My dad's passing actually brought the two of them back together in 2010. I'm so happy to see that they are at their old friendship again.. Right before they came over, I looked through my baby book and found a couple of pictures of Gayle holding me when I was a baby. I showed them the pictures and they thought that was pretty special. But then once Gayle held Alina I decided to snap a few pictures.. Now, I have Gayle holding me in 1985 and today, holding my daughter in 2013. I love how time is always ticking, but we somehow maintain those special friendships, those close relationships with our best of friends..
Gayle is by far the best friend my mom could ever ask for. She's honest and always herself. Mom and her have a cute friendship because they can tease the hell out of the other and they don't get offended. My mom is a very sensitive person but when it comes to her buddy, Gayle.. she isn't. I love that Gayle brings out the spice in my mom. I think it's because they've been friends for over thirty years.

Life is a pretty incredible thing... It is pictures likes these, that help me realize that..

My Firsts

I recently saw a post on Steph's blog; Insert Classy Here... It's a great idea for a  Friday post.. that involves no creative thinking on my part, whatsoever.

1. My First Tweet:

I'm not really sure if this was officially my first tweet. But, when I first joined Twitter I deleted some of my tweets before I really understood how Twitter worked... Yeah, I did a hashtag for boots....

2. My first blog post:

"Day One" (ooh clever title..!)  I just read it and it is pretty sad. Not in terms of  "Wah, I'm crying-sad" but more like "pathetic-sad". But that's okay, because it was my first and I had no idea what I was doing.. It was written on April 20, 2005. I was twenty years old. Holy hell.. I have come a long, long way. (In life and in blogging.)

Look- the first and last shortest blog post I ever wrote...!

3. First blog you subscribed to:

I took a break from writing in my blog and have recently returned this past June. BlogLand has changed tremendously since I've come back full time. I wasn't even sure how to go about looking for blogs. I would just search "Top Blogs" and the results weren't what I was looking for. Finally, I think I just typed the word blog in Google Search and Bloglovin' popped up. That was the moment when I became addicted to reading blogs again. I searched within Bloglovin' and I found Sarah's post from Venus Trapped In Mars. It was "9 Things No One Tells You When You Start A Blog" and it caught my eye because I was starting out my blog again. I read her tips and took a few of them to keep in my back pocket to refer to from time to time. While I was on Sarah's blog I saw some other individuals on her sidebar and just automatically started following them. Some didn't make the cut in the end, but I still read at least three of them to this day, every day... So these two are literally the very first of the firsts that I started following..

Helene in Between

4. First Facebook profile picture:

Well this is funny... There are a few things going on in this picture.. First of all my eyes are closed, so automatically people know that I am most likely drunk in the picture. Second, my top looks like it's having a really hard time supporting my boobies, that appear to be loosely existing inside. (No bra to the bar.. she must be a 20 year old..) Third... and the most obvious- that is a beer DUCK TAPED to my hand, yes... I remember this story well.. Rob's friends were visiting for the first time from Ontario. We all went to the city to a bar and got pretty drunk. (Clearly.) I ended up playing the tambourine along with the band and they were cool with it. Then immediately after playing, I put the tambourine in my purse. Rob, luckily saw what I had done and took it out, scolding me. (Thank you Rob.) I may or may not have a slight stealing problem when I get drunk and am at bars. I will take things that are not mine. Not items from people, but most definitely items from the bar. Let's just say we had a lot of pub glasses and pitchers in our early twenties. Rob's friend Parker decided to tape my beer to my hand and well, I let him... Steph might not have anything on this girl..

Insert Classy here.

5. Do you still talk to your first love?

Short answer; no, most definitely not. Things ended pretty badly. Like, really badly. I will say, that we spoke six years ago when I returned home for a visit. We were nice to one another and respectfully said we were happy for the other and our new lives. So, that was good. I think I'll just leave it at that.

I blurred out the picture because it gives you an idea of who he was. Anonymity is best.
6. First alcoholic drink?

Most likely wine at Grandma and Grandpa's at Christmas dinner. It was sick, but I was classy even as a young child and drank it really fast just because my parents told me not to. Or, my mom used to pour a little amount of Bailey's into a glass of ice and fill it with milk at Christmas time for me, so that I felt special.

7. First job:

Safeway - I worked in the deli department when I was fifteen. I remember my first day I was left alone from 7pm to 9pm. The girl that was training me had to be somewhere and left me to close. I was so terrified that I ended up making the lady closing the grocery store stay until 10pm because I didn't know how to clean the chicken pans. (There was a dishwasher that I didn't know how to use, so instead I cleaned the dishes by hand.)

That is literally the store I worked at. I googled it..! Got to love the internet!
8. First car:

That, is a tough one for me to remember.. I did have a car for one month before the transmission blew on it. It was a Honda Accord, something like an '87.. Every time I got into it it wreaked of gas fumes. Another classy item to add to my "firsts"..

Not my actual car, but it looked exactly like this.. but more of a maroon colour. The lights flipped up, which I thought was pretty bad ass at the time!
My first car that actually ran for more than a month! My Sunfire, "Bunny".

9. First person to text me today:

Honestly, no one has texted me this morning, just yet. I'll check and see who texted me last..
So I sent my step mom a picture text of Alina pulling on my Fender.. (The Fender was my dad's and I got it when he passed away.)

Me: "Papa would have been proud."

Shelley: "Yes, true that. Thank you."

 10. First person you thought of this morning:

Alina- she is always on my mind. It sounds so sweet of me, but really it's because she's in the baby monitor right beside me. She makes noise, I wake up and turn the monitor on to see what the little bugger is up to...

My fav. Alina picture to date. I call it, "Huh?"
11. First grade teacher:

Mrs. Thorburn. She wasn't great, if I'm being honest. She looked a little bit like a witch. She had two sons. One was just a year older than me. I didn't realize that teachers had lives outside of school, so this was very confusing to me..

12. Where did you go on your first airplane ride?

My first airplane ride was to Lafayette, Louisiana with my sister. We went to visit my cousins and aunt and uncle that were living there. On that trip, we went on a southern road trip to Disney World. It was one of my most memorable trips of my life. I was twelve, turning thirteen.

Right before the plane ride.. It was early and I was so nervous.

  13. First best friend:

Becky E. She was a year younger than me and our moms used to take turns babysitting us during the week. I loved going to Becky's because she had a basement full of toys. Her bedroom was big (to me) and again, it was all about her toys! I have since reconnected with Becky on Facebook. I don't think she remembers me quite as well as I do her though.

Becky, in our Radio Flyer Wagon.

14. Where was your first sleepover?

I don't really remember my first sleepover. I do remember going to a slumber party to a family friend's. Our moms were friends and Kyla was older than me and went to a different school. I think her mom made her invite me because I was the only other (younger) friend that she invited.. Pity invite.. but I took it and proudly! My mom even let me get new pajamas for it. It was a soft nighty with Jasmine from "Alladin" on it. I'm assuming that was my first big sleepover because I got special jammies.

So pretty when she's mad.

 15. First thing you did this morning:

I got out of going to the fire hall to run.. My husband is a volunteer firefighter and we have access to the gym there. I have been running all week first thing in the morning. This morning I hinted that I didn't want to go and he bargained with me, that if I wanted to skip it I could make him breakfast instead. So, I made him eggs and toast and got a lesson on electricity. No joke, he's an electrician and I have no idea how the topic of how many watts are in an amp came up but it happened. Then he had me calculate something to do with an oven with 3000 watts .. blah, blah. I finally said; " I should have gone running! It's too early for this kind of thinking!"

My head just exploded looking at this...
16. First concert:

Avril Lavigne with my sister in Victoria! It was seven years ago..! We had a really great time that night. Kyli was working for Harbour Air Seaplanes at the time and we got box seats through her work! So there was food and FREE booze. It was probably my best concert experience to date. VIP!!! Afterwards, Kyli got so drunk that she 'went to bed' as soon as we got back to her apartment. Then her now husband Joe took me out to my first "Irish Times" experience. I won a goofy dancing competition against some other girl and got an Irish Times shirt. One of my favourite nights with just my brother in law.. no, like the only night I just partied with my bro Joe.

17. First broken bone:

I have never broken a bone before! (Knock on wood!) But I have torn the ligaments in my ankle a few times. It's one of those injuries that keeps happening. The first time I did it was when I was in grade ten in gym class. We were outside playing lacrosse. I was trying to show off against one of the athletic girls in my class and out of nowhere, my ankle gave out and down I went. I recently did it on the day of my dad's funeral. Worst. Day. Ever. I was walking down the steps and crunch I fell again and landed on my ankle on the cement. Rob and I had to travel home the following day and needless to say, it was a tough trip until I finally purchased crutches.

The drive home.. sitting for all of the scenic pictures.. with my gimped ankle.

18. First piercing:

I had my ears pierced when I was five. It was my decision to do it and my older siblings both wanted their ears pierced as well. So we all went together. I had my nose pierced for a week. I was fifteen, visiting my cousins in Lafayette and my mom had to fax over the permission slip with her consent to have it done. I used the last amount of American money that I saved for the trip to pay for it. As soon as I got home to Canada, I decided to take it out, just to see what it looked like. Yeah, I couldn't get it back in. I was hysterical, I was so upset. None of my girlfriends had seen it in and I was so excited to show it off. I guess I wasn't meant to have the nose scar.. (Thank you self.)

19. First foreign country you visited:

The U. S. of A. - Lafayette, Louisiana in 1998. It was the Disney World trip with my cousins and family. We had an incredible time. I haven't been to many other places yet, but I find in my experience that southern hospitality is the best. I love southern folks. Everyone is so welcoming AND the food is ridiculous!

20. First movie you remember seeing:

I remember seeing a lot of movies. I remember going to a movie by myself, with a friend when I was going into grade three. I was so excited to get a phone call from a friend and then she invited me to go to the movies with her and her mom. It was the movie, "North" with Elijah Wood. I actually saw it on t.v. the other day and snuck a peak at it. It's not great!

21. First detention:

I didn't really get detention. I think I had to stay inside for recess once in grade one for talking during announcements. I can't remember who I was talking to, but we had to write lines during the entire fifteen minute break. I was such a goody good, it killed me.

22. First roommate:

That would be my husband, Rob. Best roommate ever. To this day.. although, he is a boy and his farts stink and he doesn't know how to pick up after himself all of the time. I still love him and wouldn't ask for anybody else to be my forever roommate.

 23. First sport you were involved in:

Baseball! Up until last year, when I was pregnant I played ball. I love playing ball because it's one of those sports that I'm actually good at! That's right.. I bragged!

Then..

Now-ish..

24. First thing you do when you get home:

Since I've been off of maternity leave the answer has changed. I think when I was working, the first thing I did when I got home was take off my work clothes and get into something more comfortable and something that has nothing to do with work!

25. When was your first kiss?

I was in grade nine and it was with my first boyfriend, Derrick. He was in grade ten and we were on our first date. He paid his older sister to pick me up and take us to the movie store so that we could rent a movie. I still remember that we rented, Deuce Bigalow- Male Gigolo and he held my hand the entire time. He had the sweatiest hands ever and when he finally let go, my hand looked like I had been sitting in a bath for an hour. The kiss, oh it was soooooo bad. I think our teeth hit. Blech.

Nothing sets the mood like this movie...!
That was a long one!! If you need a post idea, this is always a great one! Thanks for reading along with me!
